The Multi Level Marketing Lead Solution.

Many people in Multi Level Marketing wonder what they need to do once they run out of people to talk to in their "warm market".

Most resort to buying business opportunity seeking leads from random internet sites for as little as a penny ranging all the way up to paying as much as $15 per lead.

Other more "savvy" marketers will get out there and create a bunch of websites with hopes to start driving large amounts of traffic to their site thinking this is going to be the best solution for their business...

Well I'm here to tell you that these strategies are simply not necessary and not a smart idea for the average rep.

What's the alternative?

Well first off it takes understanding a bit of "Marketing 101" to really understand who you should be targeting and why and how to locate the right group of people who already are looking for what you are marketing in the first place and then being able to get yourself in front of those people at the cheapest cost possible and then developing the correct message that will attract them to you like bees are attracted to honey.

Here are 3 simple steps you can take today to get out there and locate a lead source that 99.9% of people in your company don't have a clue about and that will give you a HUGE advantage:

1- Determine Your Niche Market: Most people think because they have a business opportunity attached to their product/service that they ought to go out there and sell to "business opportunity seekers". While it's true that this can be a source of business for the average Multi Level Marketing rep, it's not the sweet spot.

The real market for health and longevity products is the part of the population that is "obsessed" with preventative health and doing everything they can to stay fit and health. There are actually a BUNCH of sweet spots that are looking for what you have that are on the opposite side of that group; namely the group that is sick and looking for alternative solutions. All you need to do is get in front of this "obsessive group" with the right message at the right price and you are good to go.

Even better would be to put together a profile of this "typical individual" realizing that if you can "peg" this person by age (such as someone 45-70 years old), by fico score (i.e. above 600), buying patterns such as having ordered health and wellness products off the TV or Radio or out of a mail order catalogue, by household income (i.e. makes above 50K per year) AND to top it off... you could find a group that had all of these things in common AND had been in a home business before... how likely do you think this group would be to respond to your offer compared to... let's say... trying to pitch your random friend from back in high school on your business opportunity? Point made.

2- Interview 10 Lead Brokers and Choose 1: Many people fear working with "lead brokers" because they think they will get scammed. While it is true that there are a LOT of shady characters who will indeed take advantage of someone who doesn't know what they are talking about... there are even more reputable list managers who have access to some very high quality lists that are EXACTLY what you are looking for. If you know how to ask the right questions and represent yourself properly to these reputable list managers you can negotiate some really killer deals. For instance... by you going on Google and typing in "List Managers", or "List Brokers" you will come up with thousands of result pages for list managers.

You'll see companies such as "Century List Services" or "The List Company" just to name a few. By you calling any of these companies and representing yourself as a "Health Expert" who is looking for a particular list (like we outlined above) they will tell you to hold on for a few moments and then they'll come back with an answer that will be something to the effect of: "How much data are you looking for?" You see these list managers have access to millions upon millions of users data, buying habits, travel patters, income, and a multitude of other consumer behaviors that would indicate a perfect match for your product and service. The real question is not "do these lists exist"... but instead... "will you be able to negotiate a fair price?"

3- Know What You Are Willing To Pay: This is the kicker. If you know what you are doing you can often times negotiate a "first time buyers special" with nearly 100% of all list managers. I've never paid more than 11 cents per name and I generally buy 5,000 leads at a time and negotiate them throwing on 2,000 - 2,500 leads as a "bonus" to earn my business.

Now these brokers deal with people all day long... some know what they are doing and others don't, and if they find out you are in Multi Level Marketing or any other MLM or Network Marketing company they will NOT (I repeat will NOT) give you access to the "primo" leads and will instead recommend the network marketing list at a substantial increase in price. Not what we are looking to achieve here... It is important that before you begin working with a broker that you first register yourself with the National Do Not Call List and get yourself a "Subscription Account Number" free of charge as the broker will need it to process your order and you'll also want to make sure the broker guarantee's their list will be good data (85% good telephone numbers or they'll replace the bad data) and that they can get you data with telephone numbers, as well as that the list is deep enough that you can come back again and again and it won't dry up.

You also want to make sure the brokers have a telephone number as well as email support and that they have been in business for a few years... this is key as it will give you the ability to build a long term relationship with a brokerage that is here for the long haul.

Developing this relationship and having this lead strategy in place for your Multi Level Marketing business is likely the single greatest success contributor of all. Having enough of the right data at the right price will offset the most expensive part of you building your Multi Level Marketing business = Lead Acquisition.

The next step is creating the proper Multi Level Marketing message with which to speak to those leads so they are attracted to you like honey while avoiding anything having to do with Greed, but that is another topic for another day.
